All Charges Stayed: Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime

All charges were stayed against the client and his co-accused regarding a significant amount of cash and crack-cocaine discovered in a vehicle occupied by the client and his co-accused. A stay of charges means the prosecution is being halted and the charges will no longer proceed against the accused. As the accused is presumed innocent and guilt will never be proven, it is equivalent to an acquittal or a withdrawal of the charges.
