Charge Withdrawn: Robbery

Robbery consists of a theft together with force or violence. The client was accused of doing this in order to steal an iPod from a stranger on the street. The client was arrested and charged after being found in the area sometime after the robbery. He did not have the iPod, and maintained his innocence. He did not know the person who had been robbed. After a meeting between Mr. MacDonald and the lawyer for the Crown's office, the Crown agreed to withdraw charge.
