Charges Withdrawn: Credit Card Fraud

The client faced several charges including theft and fraudulent use of a credit card with regard to thousands of dollars in stolen funds. Video surveillance of the client and bank records purportedly supported the allegations. Part way into the first day of the preliminary hearing for the matter, Mr. MacDonald had confidential discussions with the prosecuting Crown lawyer. All charges were subsequently withdrawn without the client admitting any guilt and without having to pay any of the money that he was alleged to have stolen.
