Charges Withdrawn: Operating Motor Vehicle with Blood-Alcohol Concentration over 0.08 ("Over 80")
The client faced a charge that he was driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of over 0.08 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, a charge which is commonly referred to as "Over 80", and the police had the breath readings to prove it. After confidential negotiations between Mr. MacDonald and the Crown, the charge was withdrawn ("dropped") on the day of trial.
